sandals and socks? oh yes, it's that time of the year. when it's still too cold to be barefoot, but you really feel the need to put on your favorite pair. you just can't help it.
I chose my socks to match my knitted trousers and I think this way it's not so messy or weird. at least not to me.
I hope now you trust me, when I say that there's always a way to wear your most extravagant pieces on a casual day. Mellow. pieces are something and they're absolutely perfect when you want to peacock a bit on a Friday night out or at an event full of eccentric people.
yet why not to add a little excitement to your comfy Monday look?
btw, I've got some exciting news for you!
make sure you follow SwO magazine on their instagram and check their live feed HERE. all week you'll see my photos, recommendations and inspirations over there.
reminder for myself: Ieva, please check your drafts folder more often.
for some inexplicable reason, I haven't shared this post with you guys. better later than never though!
going back to Berlin Fashion Week this January, you can't mention Dorothee Scumacher. just look at the accessorizing - every detail is a must! and even if it's an autumn/winter collection, I'm pretty sure it's very up-to-date and a perfect inspiration for this spring.
I'm glad I-d magazine put Bhumika Arora on the spotlight. there's so much more than black and white and if we're seeking for diversity in fashion, we should really be open to what the world has to offer.
Bhumika is the one to watch. not just because she's Indian. her spirituality and her sensibility is what inspires me. her beauty and great sense of style too, certainly.
since the coats' season is still here and doesn't seem to go anywhere, I'm enjoying every moment of wearing my favorite white beauty from COW vintage.
this time in a classic blue denim + white combination. because even if it's too cold for thin jackets, I believe it is March and it is spring and what else say spring more than a double denim look? just choose the right length/fit/color and go for a canadian tuxedo without a doubt too.
